Most computer users have a lot of software installed. These applications can range from text editors to media players and image editing applications. Most of these applications are updated on a regular basis and it's important to always have the latest version, as a more recent one can fix a lot of bugs and can also add new features and improvements. But checking every single application for updates can take a lot of time, especially if there are a lot of them installed on the computer.

Using the AutoUp application is a much better idea in this case. This simple Windows application can scan all your installed programs and can automatically display the latest version for each of them, allowing you to download it directly from the interface, thus saving time. The application doesn't need installing and it's enough to run the executable file included in the downloaded archive.

After running the program, it will list all installed applications automatically. Using a single click, the user can check whether there is a new version available for his applications. In case there is a newer version available, this will be stated using the yellow color. If the user already has the latest version of the application installed, this will be listed using the green color. Using colors for displaying the status of installed applications can make it easier for a user to view which programs need updating and which don't.

After checking the programs for their latest versions, they can be downloaded directly from the program's interface. Besides displaying the newest version for installed applications, AutoUp can also suggest some useful programs to be installed. As such, there is a large list of programs available in the interface, allowing the user to easily download any of them. The history tab of the program's interface displays all the past updated applications. This is useful in case a newer version of a program generates problems and the user would like to revert to the old one.
